We are just an hour away from our last NACDD quarterly policy call of 2018!
I’m excited to announce our State Spotlight will be led by Tami Jackson from the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities. Tami will be addressing the strong likelihood that CMS will be proposing a new rule to allow states
to waive out of providing non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) in the name of increasing state flexibility. Tami’s team has identified state datapoints that make the case for NEMT remaining a mandatory benefit that states must provide. I’ve attached
documents that Tami will refer to during her presentation.
Will your DD Council be ready to weigh in on this important matter? Make sure to call in to get expert advice on where you can find state data to support this vital program.
