Take Action: President Trump and Education Secretary Betsy DeVos are attempting to eliminate the tools of civil rights enforcement and undermine protections marginalized students rely on. Join us for a national call on Thursday, August 10, at 3:00 p.m. ET to learn about efforts to protect critical civil rights protections for students and fight this administration’s attempts to undermine civil rights enforcement!

RSVP HERE

Enforcing our nation’s civil rights laws is a central and vital function of the U.S. government. On February 24, President Trump signed an executive order designed to start a process for eliminating the tools federal agencies use to implement and enforce federal civil rights laws and protect people from discrimination.

This is a threat to all children, from preschool through higher education. But you can do something about it. Until August 21, everyone can weigh in with the U.S. Department of Education and Secretary Betsy DeVos and show support for protecting students’ rights.

We need your help to protect the tools of civil rights enforcement. Join us this Thursday on a national conference call to hear about efforts to protect critical civil rights protections for students and how to fight this administration’s attempts to undermine civil rights enforcement!

YOU ARE INVITED! JOIN OUR NATIONAL CONFERENCE CALL!

When

August 10, 3:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. ET

Sherrilyn Ifill: President and Director Counsel of the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund
