While I was too late to get through the line to get in the chamber to see his speech, I had the opportunity to run into Senator Casey as he was leaving the Senate floor outside. Luck of right place and time. I thanked him for his work to protect ACA and Medicaid. One of his brief comments to me was to please keep up the advocacy.

(Apologies for cross-posting)

For anyone who missed it, Senator Bob Casey just gave an incredible speech on the floor of the Senate in honor of the 27th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  Senator Casey schooled the Senate on the history of disability rights and talked about how the Senate bill's decimation of Medicaid would take away the freedom and choices of people with disabilities and force people into institutions.  It is is worth listening to!  Hope it inspires everyone to keep up our advocacy to #SaveMedicaid and #KillTheBill.  Keep calling, emailing, tweeting, visiting, rallying and protesting!
