As we all know, this is a critical time for our advocacy, with the Senate likely voting tomorrow on a healthcare bill. Keep up the calls, emails, visits, protests, rallies, tweets, etc. For those in the DC area, reminder that tonight at 5:30 at the Captiol is a die-in/vigil that will include speakers from the disability community and tomorrow is NCIL's disability rights march and rally. In case it is useful in your advocacy, attached find a letter from 74 national disability organizations (members of CCD) strongly opposing the revised version of the BCRA. This is the bill that CBO said late last week will cause $756 billion in cuts to Medicaid by 2026 and 22 million people to lose insurance. Please feel free to use this in any way that it is useful (including taking any content from the letter to use in your own advocacy). The letter is attached and available here.
