Okay, so now that I have given people close to half an hour to celebrate and see all the hard work pay off the last few months, onto other news, the bill has not been defeated yet. A reminder that is just a delay.

 

We need to now pivot to thinking about strategy to be vocal and visible during the July 4th recess when members are home. Please begin to consider how your Council can work to show up at town halls, offices, parades, etc., and be visible meeting, calling, emailing, tweeting and facebooking during recess to educate members about the impact to people with disabilities of this bill.
