Hello,
The Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities is putting out updates every few days to provide updates on the status of the repeal and replacement of the ACA. Thank you for all the outreach you have been doing to Member’s offices!
Please keep the calls and visits with personal stories going!
Timing: We continue to expect a vote on the healthcare
bill the week of June 26th: https://www.axios.com/mcconnell-schedule-health-care-vote-2444017826.html?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=organic.
In addition, we understand that the Senate is considering a lower growth rate for per capita caps:

It is expected that undecided Senators will make decision this week, and we need to get them to no!
We cannot and should not expect to see the bill before it is on the floor for a vote. But we do know the bill will have per capita caps on Medicaid, so we cannot wait to see the bill. It is expected that today, Senate Republicans will meet to discuss and be
briefed on the contents of the Senate version of the AHCA at their caucus lunch from 12:30-2pm. This is a great time to weigh in and ask for a transparent and open process for constituents to provide input on the bill.
Key states to educate and inform on the impact of repeal of ACA/Medicaid caps are:
Alaska: Murkowski* and Sullivan*
Maine: Collins *
Nevada: Heller *
West Virginia: Capito *
Alabama: Shelby
Arizona: Flake
Colorado: Gardner
Florida: Rubio
Georgia: Isakson
Indiana: Young
Louisiana: Cassidy
Missouri: Blunt
Montana: Daines
Nebraska: Fischer and Sasse
