I agree that the CCD Medicaid Letter to the Senate can inspire the development of similar statewide coalitions.  I will be using this example with a relatively small coalition of disability rights activist tomorrow morning in my efforts to get agreement that a broader Colorado disability-based coalition based upon fighting federal Medicaid cuts makes sense.

    Hello,

     

    I wanted to share this letter from CCD, so everyone can see the large number of groups raising concerns around cuts and caps to the Medicaid program. I also think it provides some ideas for strategic allies within the community as you work with the Governors, Medicaid Directors, others at the state-level and Senators to educate them about the impact of the proposal.
