Hello,

On Friday, just short of the midnight deadline, the Senate passed the Continuing Resolution (CR) for FY 17 to fund the government through April 28^th. The CR carries forward current funding for the Councils and other discretionary programs at the prior year’s levels. The CR does contain a small across the board cut of .19% to stay within the budget caps. With passage of the CR, the 114^th Congress has come to an end, and they will return on January 3^rd.

At this time, we do not know what Congress will do to fund the remainder of the FY after President-Elect Trump takes office, and whether it will be another CR or something else, so please plan accordingly.
