Administrative Items
o New Chair of the Public Policy Committee for FY 17 - Kristin Britton (MA). Debra Dowds (FL) will continue as PPC member
until December and Mat McCollough (DC) will continue as Vice Chair. PPC members will also continue in current roles until after the new Congress and Administration starts in 2017. Appointments will be made once Committee assignments are determined for the
next Congress.
o Public Policy Committee is meeting and developing a plan for working with the new Congress and Administration, and determining
what NACDD’s public policy priorities are for 115th Congress. More information to follow after the election.
o Update Calls will continue on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 4:00 pm for the remainder of 2016. In October,
the call will need to be cancelled or rescheduled for October 27th.
