Subject: Now Recruiting for CSPI's Health Equity Advisory Committee

Dear Partners,

The Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is on a journey of examining internal organizational practices and integrating equity and justice into our external policies and programs.  As part of that work, we’re partnering with Just Strategies<https://cspinet.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=56c53970e9e8f3069990102a6&id=dfd1793e05&e=638b51d85a> to form an external Health Equity Advisory Committee to review our major programs, policies, litigation, and Nutrition Action Healthletter, the degree to which they support and advance health equity, and to provide us with recommendations to better center health equity in our work.

We are currently recruiting individuals that have content and practice-based expertise in designing interventions that address the social determinants of health and advance health equity, as well as lived experience. We anticipate that members will spend about 4 hours per month on this effort from July - December 2021. Stipends for participation (approx. $3000 each) will be provided.
