Final Week [https://files.constantcontact.com/66a22ea8401/eff8fb08-105f-4f5e-8f13-9f4aac8ddc01.jpg] March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month Final Week! It's the final full week of DD Awareness Month already! We want to pass on our thanks to everyone who contributed to this campaign and kept it going. We are definitely MOVING TOWARDS CHANGE Two things of note as the month comes to a close: First, don't forget that April is National Autism Acceptance Month. Check out Autism Society's NAAM information page<http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=0010-b7J30BtQDUi4L12PGHsU0CPsVjyMgjfzNmse3h_CURsgl8awArfg_FZmZcOwCPGDbl7X2R61lT32LLr7a3kMbLTSnDWOccbA4nFiVnJZVPLcDrr9W5UWDVoUr7tFmAkEgNc7fICHTP1sWgvQX7pJzCQE0pHftZa3jqNLPnlgCG_fubub_sff9iNmHiRHvRdbW-SZnK3iMlSrbGPQNvb6HVWnbjiPvb&c=FQtzYlyu8wJyQqYrNMGVejwAYhXo5qwwIS-0OkwQZBQVu3xk9VzCLA==&ch=W4Z3rVmx85cFX8GAehVuqLRAv8AhL4R8fgmZhR7LX0pQBXV3tNFVzQ==> to learn more about the campaign and how it can connect to some of the work we are doing with DD Awareness Month. Second, the end of March does NOT mean that activities that promote I/DD awareness and acceptance have to stop. It's incredibly important that people with I/DD are included in everything from the vaccine rollout, plans to reopen cities, states, and schools, to the upcoming 2021 elections. So, keep up the good work, regardless of whether it's March 31st or April 21st.
