Our colleagues at the Montgomery County Food Council (MCFC) are currently hiring for multiple positions. Please see details on the two openings below.

Food Security Programs Manager:  This position is dedicated to coordinating the MCFC’s Food Security initiatives. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week with some required evening and weekend meetings. The Food Security Programs Manager will report to the MCFC Executive Director.

Policy and Advocacy Manager:  This position is dedicated to coordinating MCFC’s policy, community leadership and engagement, and racial equity initiatives. This is a full-time, salaried position that requires a commitment of 40 hours per week with some required evening and weekend meetings. The Policy and Advocacy Manager will report to the MCFC Executive Director.

Additionally, Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI) is currently hiring a Senior Policy Associate<https://cspinet.us11.list-manage.com/track/click?u=56c53970e9e8f3069990102a6&id=0414d17ce4&e=638b51d85a> to co-lead our healthy retail work. The Senior Policy Associate advocates for improved food and nutrition policies with local, state, and federal policy makers; encourages food companies to improve their products and practices; and engages organizations, health professionals, academics, and concerned citizens in supporting food and nutrition policies. This work will engage and support historically under-resourced communities that experience health disparities and are disproportionately targeted by the marketing of unhealthy food and beverages. This position reports to the Advocacy Director, and is available either in CSPI's Washington, DC office or remotely.
