FW: People With Intellectual Disabilities, Developmental Disorders May Be At Greater Risk Of Death From COVID-19, Analysis Suggests. Robin Troutman 19 Nov 2020 09:58 EST
Dear NACDD Network - thanks to all those who joined our weekly All-Call Zoom yesterday for another robust discussion. I was grateful to learn from many of you more about what is happening in your state around ensuring that people with I/DD will be considered a priority for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine once it becomes available.

During our weekly call on Dec. 9 we will have a special presentation by Tim Vaske of PhRMA who will walk us through everything we need to know about the vaccines and will continue our discussions around messaging and distribution of the vaccine once it is ready for roll-out. Please make every effort to attend this presentation and discussion.

In case you have not seen the latest important information on COVID-19 and the I/DD population, I have attached it here for you.

Wishing you all a great day!

Best,
Donna
