Join us NEXT WEEK to learn, explore and share ideas to make each day healthier for all children! We have carefully selected content for this year’s event to help us advance our work in health equity and policy change. And knowing that the pandemic continues to impact so many things in our lives, we have deliberately narrowed the event to one afternoon of content so you can give it your full attention.

Below are the three sessions that will be offered. You will need to register for each individually and each will have their own link to log-on. The registration deadline is Monday, October 5th. For any questions on registration or for technical assistance, please contact Andrea Guarnero<mailto:xxxxxx@heart.org>.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Systemic Oppression Workshop

Moderator: Richard Leong, Act to Change

Between COVID-19 and the national uprisings against the murder of innocent Black Americans, it’s a critically important time to recognize how forms of oppression, including racism, operate as systems. Particular attention will be given to equipping participants with the tools to tangibly disrupt systems of oppression in ways that promote health equity and anti-racism at their workplace.
