Dear Partners,

Thank you for your continued support of this effort -- because of you we crossed the 400,000 sign-up threshold!  But we’re not slowing down -- we’re continuing to recruit poll workers and partners through October to meet the needs of election administrators across the country and to build a pipeline of everyday Americans eager to step up and serve their country and their communities.

In November 2016, just under 1 million poll workers staffed polling locations across the nation, and that still wasn’t enough. This year, hundreds of thousands of those poll workers are opting-out of service for the 2020 election due to heightened health risks associated with COVID-19. Your efforts are driving a new wave of poll workers — a younger, more diverse cohort is answering the call, but we need to keep the momentum going.

In the coming months, we will also be organizing virtual briefings, events, and new content to keep poll worker recruits engaged and enthusiastic about working the polls and defending democracy! We are building a calendar of events and a slate of influencers to address targeted needs and encourage poll worker recruits to sign-up and show up on Election Day.
