FW: North Carolina Council On Developmental Disabilities ADA 30th Anniversary Page And Celebration! Robin Troutman 23 Jul 2020 20:40 EDT
The North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD) has created an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 30th anniversary webpage that showcases ADA stories, ADA 30th anniversary events, and an Americans with Disabilities Act Day proclamation from Governor Roy Cooper:

The highlight is 30 ADA stories created by people with disabilities and family members of people with disabilities in North Carolina, with NCCDD posting one story daily throughout the month of July. There is also a MapMe feature showing where all of the story contributors live in North Carolina:

Individuals who want to submit their own ADA story can do so through the “Share Your ADA Story!” links at the bottom of the page. NCCDD is also collaborating with other divisions within the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services and the Office of State Human Resources to host a virtual ADA 30th Anniversary Celebration today (Thursday, July 23rd) that will be recorded for viewing later:
