The 2020 Census deadlines have been extended due to COVID-19. What does this mean for the disability rights community? In this webinar, we will discuss the importance of the census and what the deadline changes mean, provide a census update, and discuss different ways you can engage with the census in the months ahead.

Learning Objectives

  *   Based on the discussion during the webinar, participants will connect the importance of engaging the disability community with the potential impact of the 2020 Census.
  *   Based on the discussion during the webinar, participants will identify which 2020 Census operational adjustments have been made due to COVID-19 and recommend possible outreach strategies.
  *   At the end of the webinar, participants will fill out a menu of ways their organization will engage in the census (including how participants can share the messages of #BeCounted, #DisabilityCounts2020 and etc.).
