Hi everyone
HAPPY FRIDAY!  We made it through another week!  It has been very busy here at NACDD and I wanted to be sure you have the updates

  1.  Last week we held the DD Awareness Month Kickoff Webinar.  For those who were not able to listen to the presentation, or were just looking for the slides, and logos you can click here: https://www.nacdd.org/ddam1/
  2.  We sent out the Call for Proposals for the 2020 Annual Conference.  The deadline to submit is March 8th.  Please share with your staff, grantees, advocates, partners, network.  It is going to be an exciting week as we celebrate 50 years of DD Councils and the 30th Anniversary of the ADA. Plus so much more!  The call for proposals can be found here: https://www.nacdd.org/
  3.  The Disability Policy Seminar is fast approaching on March 23-25th in Washington DC.  There is still time to register but the room block has been filled at this time.  If you have not booked your rooms yet, please let me know and I will get you on the waiting list and try to find another location.  To register please go here: https://www.disabilitypolicyseminar.org . Don't forget that NACDD is holding an event on Sunday March 22nd at 4:00pm.  We are still finalizing speakers, but the topic will be on voting.  More to come on that!
  4.  NACDD is also hosting it DD Awareness Month Resource Fair.  This will be on March 25th from 10am-12pm in the Rayburn Foyer on the House side of Capitol Hill.  Stop by and hear from our amazing advocates planning group and meet many of our disability coalition partners.
  5.  OneVoteNow.org is live and filled with great resources on how to vote, when to vote, and why everyone must vote in the November election (plus primary information).  In addition we are working with a number of partners on the 2020 Census.  Please be sure to fill out the census form when you get it.  there are lots of resources on OneVoteNow and Census.gov if you need more.  Everyone must be counted!
