FW: Postponement - Presidential Forum on Disability Issues Robin Troutman 06 Jan 2020 22:41 UTC

Dear REV UP Supporters:

Due to circumstances beyond the control of the AAPD Presidential Forum on Disability Issues, PFDI Planning Committee, the decision was made by the AAPD board to postpone the Forum. (See attached letter)

These circumstances include the uncertainty of the dates of the impeachment trial and the recent scheduling of the January 14th debate in Iowa.

This postponement does not diminish the growing Power of the Disability Vote. Almost every campaign contacted AAPD/REV UP expressing their inability to make the January 13th date work. This shows that the campaigns are cognizant of the organizing that is going on in the Disability Community.

AAPD/REV UP will shortly be deciding the new date for the Forum and will communicate that through the Disability Networks.

The Forum hower is a means to an end.
That is showing up at the polls.

Our influence must be shown in the TURNOUT of the Disability Community in the upcoming Primaries. (See the attached Primary Schedule)
