Robin Troutman 18 Dec 2018 19:05 UTC
I'm reaching out about a search we're doing for St. Francis de Sales School for the Deaf (SFDSSD) in Brooklyn. They are looking for a new Director.
Founded in 1960, SFDSSD offers a Parent/Infant Program and Pre-K through 8th grade instruction in academics and life skills for disabled-deaf and multiply-diagnosed children and their families. The school's mission is to encourage the maximum potential for learning in each child regardless of race, creed or color. This education embraces all facets of the child - psychological, physical, social and emotional with the goal of producing a well-adjusted individual who makes maximum use of acquired skills.
The Director will provide leadership in developing and maintaining the best possible educational programs and services for the benefit of the students. S/he will lead the administration and faculty and oversee the use of facilities, property and funds in the best interest of the school.
We'll be grateful if you can help us identify a strong applicant. I have attached the job description here. For more information, or to refer candidates, please contact Jane Herzog (xxxxxx@harrisrand.com<mailto:xxxxxx@harrisrand.com>)
Thank you,
Margaret
