Metro Service Update We learned this morning that Metro is undergoing track maintenance and the National Airport Metro station is closed through Monday. They advertise that shuttle buses are available to the next closest station.
If you will be arriving in DC at National Airport and were planning to use the Metro, we wanted to let you know that the use of shuttle buses to the next stop can often add up to an hour’s travel time, and accessibility of the buses cannot always be guaranteed.
You might consider a taxi (approx. $19 one way), or Uber or Lyft as alternatives.
