Dear DD Councils:
As some of you know, NACDD worked over the last 6 months with approval from the Board of Directors, to film professional videos about community living.
The videos were filmed by a company called Success Files and are hosted by the actor Rob Lowe. Folks from NACDD, the DC DD Council and the Maryland DD Council appear in the videos (due to close proximity to our office). Success Files has been working on securing
a year’s worth of airing opportunities on a variety of cable and PBS networks. Tonight the first airing will take place. Set your TVs to watch the Fox Business Network tonight at:
9:16pm Eastern, 8:16 pm Central, 7:16 Mountain and 6:15 Pacific.
Another airing will take place on Sunday but we don’t have the specifics yet. Once we have a more complete list of stations and times we will share them
with you all along. Additionally, we will soon be sharing the actual videos with you for your use as well along with some thoughts on how to use the videos as an educational tool. Much more to come so please stay tuned!
