Hi All,
I'm in contact with an editor at Vice.com who is working on a series of personal essays about people who were not able to vote because of some barrier (disability related, felony conviction, not able to take time off of work, etc.). They are looking to
speak with a disabled person who could not vote because of an access barrier related to their disability - do any of you have advocates or consumers in your network that may be a good fit here?
The folks at Vice would set up a call with the individual, listen to their story, and then write an "as told to" article that essentially transcribes the story told over the phone. Alternatively, if they wanted, the individual could write their won piece
and work with Vice's editors.
They're hoping to run this series at the end of the month and would like to connect with someone ASAP.
Thank you in advance for any ideas or connections!
Best,
Zach
