Hi everyone,

I hope you will all let me brag on one of our Councilmembers for a moment. Ricardo Thornton has served on the DC DD Council for a while and we are so lucky to have his advocacy in DC. If you get to know him, you’ll learn that he loves Special Olympics and has participated in many of their programs throughout the years. This year is Special Olympics 50th anniversary and ESPN made some videos to celebrate. One of them features Ricardo and the VIPs in his life and it is very touching. We’ve been enjoying it around DC and I felt the need to share it broader than just our community because the message is so powerful. I hope you enjoy it.

Have a great weekend!
