·      Please see the information below from Christine Heyser with the Department of Human Services in Pennsylvania in regards to some upcoming events on June 13 and 14.

 

·      The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is hosting a Summit on Integrating Disability Needs into Emergency Planning June 13 in Camp Hill, PA. The summit will focus on incorporating access and functional needs considerations into emergency plans, including considerations for acquiring durable medical equipment and assistive technology for use during disasters and will feature June Isaacson Kailes, noted disability policy consultant. ·       The Pennsylvania Department of Human Services is hosting a Symposium on Mass Care in Pennsylvania June 14 in Camp Hill, PA. The Symposium is for county, state, and federal partners to discuss current issues and trends in Mass Care and will include a review of Mass Care planning efforts and recent operations. The American Red Cross, Salvation Army, and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) will also be presenting.
