Stories from the Field Contest
The
HCBS Business Acumen Center is looking for stories and examples of promising business practices from community-based organizations (CBOs) serving people with disabilities. These stories will help inspire, shape, and elevate
the status of CBOs across our country.
Disability-focused CBOs that have used business acumen to promote the sustainability of their organization in a changing environment are invited to submit stories. Changes may have been prompted
by a move to integrated managed care or a desire to diversify the organizations payer portfolio so that they are no longer reliant on any single funder.
Submit your story by
March 23, 2018, to be eligible to win one of three prize packages, which includes up to two complimentary registrations and lodging at the 2018 national Home and Community Based Services
(HCBS) conference in Baltimore, Maryland; participation in a panel at the HCBS conference to disseminate your story; your written story highlighted on the HCBS Business Acumen website (www.hcbsbusinessacumen.org);
and a spotlight interview on YouTube.
