Hi Sheryl,
Hi Sheryl,The Youth With A Mission (YWAM) is a faith based organization that recruits and trains students from the Federated States of Micronesia. The Child Evangelism provides and encourages birthday celebrations for Jesus with children and youths in the district of Mangilao. Mangilao has two high schools, the University of Guam, Public Health and Social Services, an agency of the Government of Guam. GDDC has touched bases with these organizations in the past. I will introduce this information to the next Executive Committee meeting this week.I can request them to make a presentation of their programs at the next General Membership meeting in March. In cases of emergency the Governor of Guam has the sole responsibility of declaring a state of emergency. When this occurs the public schools are open for shelters. The Office of Civil Defense and the Office of the Governor coordinate with the Office of Military Affairs and keeps the public informed at all times.GDDC had prepared an emergency tool kit in the past five year state plan.RosanneOn Wed, Jan 31, 2018 at 12:26 AM, Sheryl Matney <xxxxxx@nacdd.org> wrote:Good morning,
I need to know if your Council has a current faith-based initiative or one is planned for this 5-year State plan - or if you had a faith-based initiative in your last 5-year plan - either reply to this message or email me directly (xxxxxx@nacdd.org) - indicate yes, we have a current faith based project, a planned faith based project, or we completed one in our last 5-year plan.
If yes...we may be reaching out to you again.
Thanks in advance,
Sheryl
