FRIENDLY REMINDER!

 

Dear DD Council Network ~ SAVE-THE-DATE

 

NACDD/ITACC, in collaboration with AIDD, and NACDD’s Self-Advocacy Committee/ITACC SA Work Group developed a resource designed to enhance the understanding of advocacy and advocacy activities from the unique perspective of DD Councils. (see attached or click here)

 

There will be an informational webinar on Wednesday August 9th at 3:00pm Eastern standard time to explore the Understanding Advocacy through the DD Council Lens resource and offer recommendations for the many ways it can be used to support Council advocacy work in your state or territory.

 

The webinar will provide background about the resource, identify its components, discuss its many uses and conclude with time for Q & A and idea sharing.
