Hi folks – let me clarify. There is a long way to go in this process. ACL is taking comments via their website established for the process as noted below. They have not set a deadline for closure on that as they have not even started listening sessions for the public yet. Those will be announced later this week I believe.

 

NACDD is coordinating official comments that will be vetted by the board that respond to the 7 questions ACL put forward. We have already met with ACL for clarification on the questions and are vetting our first draft. This official statement will be submitted by the July 31 deadline. You may send any further comments you wish (per suggestions in the email I sent to all EDs and Board members last week).

 

I recommend that if you are able please try to attend one of the listening sessions that will be advertised before you send comments. The deadline for the July 31 stakeholder comments was intended for the national organizations’ responses.
