Senator Hoeven, from North Dakota, has met with Chairman Blunt about the DD Councils and has recommended level funding. I shared the talking points from Cindy and Donna with his staffers a few times. His health staffer told me today the Senator has reached out again, today in fact, to share our concerns and his support for the Councils. They will  stay in touch with the Chairman and staff moving forward and keep me in the loop.

 

Thanks everyone for the resources, the words, the support, etc. It has really helped me (and the Council) develop great talking points to use with our Congressional representatives.
