I found this since I emailed:
As of 2014, 15 States report having no state institutions to seclude those with ID/DD, including: Alabama, Alaska, Colorado, Hawaii, Indiana, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire,
New Mexico, Oregon, Rhode Island, Vermont, West Virginia and Washington, D.C.

I recall seeing information in the past 6 -12 months that named the states that no longer have state funded institutions for people
with ID/DD. But I cannot locate the information. Does anyone have recent information on that. Need for a reporter.
