Our full set of survey results from our “Am I Impacted by Medicaid?” survey are done and out to Congressional offices. We worked with a professional designer to get the data and stories and photos together for each Congressional rep. See sample here:

Our original survey monkey from which we culled the results and stories is here: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/XVCZFXK The survey was designed to get stories from every district in our state, but also to educate participants that the 20-some programs they know and use are MEDICAID-FUNDED.

 

I’m also including a Congressional map with phone numbers we used yesterday at our Disability Advocacy Day. During the issues briefing, we had folks pull out their cells and call: at least 300 of the 500 got through and left messages. It was a very powerful 5 minutes of their day at the Capitol.

 

Don’t reinvent the wheel: use whatever we have that’s useful to tell the story of how Medicaid cuts will hurt our disability communities.
