At the end, folks were asking about block grant talking points. Here are two resources that colleagues in WI have done that we are using and find very helpful:

 

Attached is a simple overview (for legislators and for the grassroots) developed by our P&A on what Medicaid is, what block grants do, and then talking points of how it hurts the disability community. It finishes with some ways policymakers could make Medicaid sustainable (save money) WITHOUT blockgranting and hurting people, and questions constituents can ask legislators about how block grants can impact them.

 

Below is a link to questions we are using for the grassroots that they can ask their Congressional and state legislators about how block grants will impact them. We want policymakers to realize (as they are beginning to with ACA repeal) that big global changes without detailed replacements have the impact to be very harmful at the local level:
