Subject: DD Councils Federal register comments to CMS on timely/quality HCBS services

Hi all,

Happy New Year! Our cross-disability state coalition developed robust comments to CMS for provision of HCBS services and submitted them today. So far, only one comment has been submitted and the deadline is Monday. Our coalition agreed that we should share our comments with our respective members’ networks in hopes that more comments will be generated and sent in supporting HCBS implementation. We know HCBS opponents always get in lots of comments. Here’s a link to our coalition’s comments in a word doc: please feel free to lift/copy/use as you see fit to submit something if they are helpful. Also, here’s a link below that to where to submit at the Federal Register.
