Dear NACDD Network – with the new year nearly upon us we are gearing up for the new Congress! One way to get to know the big issues of the day, and Members of Congress and staff, is by attending
the annual Disability Policy Seminar (DPS). Over the years many of you have attended and found it a great way to get in-depth knowledge from experts on important topics such as protecting Medicaid, understanding the HCBS Rule, learning what’s new in Education
and Employment for people with disabilities and much more. As you may know, we are anticipating some tough times this year and building good relationships with your state/territory’s congressional delegation is critical. With that in mind I do hope that you
will consider attending this year. NACDD has not yet finalized plans for the annual NACDD-only event that we typically host during or the day before the conference. We will have more to share on that soon after the New Year holiday. Meanwhile, check out the
