I wanted to share with you information about the new Executive Director of the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council. Dr. Erica McFadden will begin her duties
on Monday, December 19th when she’ll begin transitioning into her role. On December 28th,
Dr. McFadden will assume the full responsibilities of her position.
For the past 6 years, Erica has served as a Policy Analyst with the Morrison Institute for Public Policy at Arizona State University and worked closely with the Council
in conducting research, public forums and most notably the 2015 CRA which was used in crafting our State Plan. Erica has hands-on management experience earned as the Director of an Independent Living Center. I think that Erica will prove herself as an extremely
capable leader and collaborator not only with the Arizona Council but also among her fellow Executive Directors.
