Hi Becky,      Congratulations Becky.        No, the plan has been to leave in January, but this process has taken longer than I thought.   Give yourself and the Council plenty of time to get everything in place.  This is a major change for the Council.

Debra, thank you!  I thought you were leaving in September.  Was I wrong or did things change?  I’m trying to put everything in motions to leave next spring.  How I envy those who can just give notice and walk away.  Becky

 

 

Good Morning Everyone,

 

The Florida DD Council has decided to engage a national executive search firm to assist us with the search for a new Council Executive Director.    The position is, therefore, open again until December 1^st.   We are wanting to get the word to the developmental disabilities community as broadly as possible.  Attached is the position description.   It would be great if you could share this with contacts in your state.
