NACDD has received a generous grant from UnitedHealthcare to help further promote and enhance the Partners in Policymaking® leadership training program. In addition, it will assist States and Territories in developing leadership development training opportunities which help grow a well-educated, national group of advocates to support strong federal, state and local policy with the intent of supporting full inclusion of people with disabilities in all aspects of life. To this end, NACDD is looking for individuals who wish to serve on a National Advisory Group that will address key components of advocacy training, including curriculum development, alumni retention, youth leadership and more.

If you are interested in participating in this National Advisory Group, please fill out the application below for review. We are looking for a strong cross-section of individuals who are very familiar with and/or are graduates of the Partners in Policymaking®  leadership training or similar advocacy training programs, those who have worked on curriculum, technology and communications. We need self-advocates, family members and program trainers/teachers to participate in order to be able to fully address the goals of this grant.

Thank you in advance for your interest! Please share this invitation with others you know who may want to apply.

Application deadline for review is Wednesday, November 30, 2016.
