No to the first two in Kansas.  On the question of partnership etc. we do attend some meetings with the ADA coordinator and have asked him to help with certain ADA issues in the state from time to time.

Yvonne,

The DDPC in New Mexico is a small agency, so we have a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the State Personnel Office to provide HR services to our agency.  As part of the MOU, the State Personnel Office provides an ADA Coordinator.

No to the first two in Kansas. We do have a good partnership with our ADA regional office and we invite one of the coordinators to participate on workgroups such as the Inclusive Housing Corporation and the state’s Access and Functional Needs Committee. I just sent an invitation to serve on an advisory council we will be establishing around our First Responder Disability Awareness Training.
