In MA the Council has a designated ADA Coordinator as required by the state.  Our HR/Communications staff serves that function.  It is just one of multiple roles she has.

It is not in our Executive Order.  It's a state administrative requirement that all agencies designated a person.

We have a state Office on Disability that is responsible for coordinating public entity ADA compliance.  We have partnered with them on occasion when it supports a Council state plan objective.

Dear DD Executive Directors:

The VI DD Council is working on the documentation and other information for the change of DSA and legislation to formally establish the Council. We have been asked the following:

1.  How many DDC's have an ADA Coordinator on the Council?
2.  How many has the ADA Coordinator as part of their executive order or legislation?
3.  How many has an established relationship, partnership or collaboration with the ADA office within their state or territory?

We thank you in advance for your assistance in this matter.

Sincerely,
