Our Council doesn’t directly involve itself with Somali refugees but I’m a Board member of Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest (LSS-SW) which operates a refugee resettlement program.  You may wish to contact Craig Thoresen who’s the Director of Refugee Focus with LSS-SW since I think he’s best qualified to answer your questions, at least from an Arizona perspective.  He can be reached at 602/248-4400, extension 115 or at xxxxxx@refugeefocus.org.
