I am new and not sure what we have to even share with our council and staff members. Would you have those templates or training materials you could share with
me so I can get a feel for that?
Thanks!

Subject: DD Councils Orientation: Would someone please pass the secret sauce?
Hello colleagues,
We are reviewing our orientation manual/procedures for Council members and staff. We have all the expected and standard information neatly printed neatly and organized in
a binder.
I'd like to spice it up a bit.
If you are a Council with:
(1) an approach to orientation that leverages active learning opportunities, digital platforms, technology or has components that are active and engaging-- more thought provoking
than the usual explanations of organizations, definitions, and lists of acronyms...
or
(2) a fabulous process/approach to orientation that doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles, but is effective, meaningful, and impactful for new Council members/staff....
then please share your process/ideas with us either by emailing me at
xxxxxx@md-council.org, or by giving me a call.
Thanks!
Kelley
