Costs: we run the program at about $45,000 for 30 participants over 6 weekends. Weekends start at noon Friday and go to about 8 p.m., then Saturday 9-3 for a total of 84 hours of training.
We also set up a Facebook page the first weekend for the class and ensure all are on FB, and we have a FB group across all classes for quick action
on policy items.
We don't do a JR Partners, but we do support Youth Leadership Forum and sometimes recruit later on from that list for Partners. Our self-advocates in partners tend to be younger: in their 20s and 30s.
