Dear Ms. Petersen,
We, the Guam DD Council, contracts conferences or forums either to the University of Guam's Center of Excellence on Developmental Disabilities Education, Research Services or the non-government organization called SINA.  It is their choice to pay or not to their keynote speaker.
Hope this answers your question.
Sincerely,
Rosanne Ada

Dear Executive Directors:

The VIDDC is planning a parent advocacy conference. We informed the organization for the keynote speaker that we were not providing an honorarium. The organization stated that when they present at other DD Council's conference, they receive an honorarium. I am requesting any feedback this matter. Thank you for your assistance.
