Hi everyone,

We are working on some counter-proposals to a very disturbing biennial budget proposal that would turn our non-profit, regionally-controlled managed care system over to big insurance and integrate all four services into one page (acute/primary/behavioral health/long-term cares). One of the approaches we would like to put more details into would be a pilot focused on individuals who are unusually high service users: a very small group where integration might make some sense. We are trying to show policymakers that you don’t need a sledge hammer to address an issue when a scalpel might be more appropriate. Does anyone have a report like that they would be willing to share?

Thanks
Beth
