Executive Director of NACDD. The Board’s decision is effective as of October 24, 2023
“With careful consideration, Robin Troutman has been selected for this important role with the utmost confidence in her abilities and leadership qualities.
As Interim Executive Director, she will provide continuity of operations and ensure stability for our organization, constituents, and businesses during this period,” said Kirsten Murphy, President, NACDD Board of Directors.
Robin Troutman has been with NACDD since 2015 as Deputy Director where she manages the operations, finances, human resources, and more for the organization.
Her experience and education in nonprofit management makes Robin uniquely qualified to lead the organization through this leadership transition.
Prior to NACDD, Robin worked for both for-profit and non-profit organizations focusing on operations and management. She holds a bachelor’s degree from
Binghamton University, a master’s degree from University of Central Florida, and most recently became a Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) through the Events Industry Council. Outside of NACDD, Robin holds various leadership positions in the community. She
is her local PTA Treasurer, the DEI Co-chair of PCMA Capital Chapter, and the Director of Professional Development of MPI Potomac.

La Junta de La Asociación Nacional de Consejos de Discapacidades del Desarrollo (NACDD) se complace en anunciar el nombramiento de
Robin Troutman como directora ejecutiva interina de NACDD.
La decisión de la Junta tomó efecto a partir del 24 de octubre de 2023.
“Después de mucha consideración, Robin Troutman ha sido designada para esta posición
con la máxima confianza en sus habilidades y cualidades de liderazgo. Como
directora ejecutiva interina, ella proveerá continuidad y estabilidad a las operaciones diarias de nuestra organización, sus constituyentes, y empresas asociadas durante este período,” dijo Kirsten Murphy, presidenta de la junta de NACDD.
Desde el 2015, Robin Troutman se desempeñó como directora adjunta de NACDD, siendo responsable de manejar las operaciones, las finanzas, los recursos humanos, y otros roles
dentro de la organización. Su educación y experiencia laboral previa en el mundo de las organizaciones sin fines de lucro, demuestra que Robin está excepcionalmente capacitada para liderar NACDD durante este periodo de transición de liderazgo.
Antes de NACDD, Robin trabajo para organizaciones con y sin fines de lucro, con un enfoque en operaciones y gerencia. Robin tiene un bachillerato de la Universidad de Binghamton
y una maestría de la Universidad de Florida Central. Recientemente, obtuvo su certificación de planificadora de eventos (Certified Meeting Planner) mediante el Consejo de la lndustria de Eventos (Events Industry Council).
Fuera de NACDD, Robin ocupa varios puestos de liderazgo dentro su comunidad. Robin es la tesorera del capítulo local de Asociación de Padres y Maestros (Parent Teacher
Association), copresidenta del consejo de diversidad, equidad, e inclusión del
PCMA Capital Chapter, y directora de desarrollo profesional del MPI Potomac.
