We are working on this right now. Not sure yet exactly how it will be organized, how formal it will be, or what we will call it. Our bylaws allow for none members to serve on committees. Many organizations have an advisory board that stands alongside the board of directors. I imagine that we will adopt that model. No change in governance, just more hands on deck.

Hello, Fellow ED’s,

Some of our former Council members are interested in creating an “alumni group.”  [I have been clear with them that the governance role of a DD Council is reserved for current Council members].

Wondering if any other Council’s have a formal way of keeping their past members involved.  Would love to know more if you do.

Best.
