Hi everyone,

I am very pleased to announce that Amy Deaville will be joining us as the Training and Technical Assistance Administrator on September 1, 2023.

Amy will work with the ITACC to provide high quality training and technical assistance services to DD Councils and will be responsible for supporting Councils to improve outcomes and impact, maintaining and if needed achieving compliance, and positioning Councils as leaders and agents of systems change.

Most recently, Amy served as Executive Director of the Louisiana Council on Developmental Disabilities with a working knowledge of federal reporting, implementing a 5-year state plan, DD Act requirements for a Council. And Amy also brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in areas such as mental health, at-risk youth in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems, aging, and services and supports for people with developmental disabilities. Amy holds both a bachelor's and master's degree in psychology.
