Here’s the WI social media manual that Josh Ryf put together. A couple additions:

n  Whenever we post on trends/outside stories, we always try to find a link to our own work to reference in the description.

n  We don’t remove FB posts unless they are personal attacks or profane.

n  FB is a closed group: only administrators can post on the timeline. Others can comment, but it shows up as a message, not in the feed.

We have increasingly found that social media is an effective way to both get info out quickly and to get our grassroots network to act on specific policy issues.
