Wow, it sounds like lots of states were on the same page. Even though we had no active 14-c programs going, we eliminated the option too for the future. Our bill is just awaiting
signature by the government.
This is SB 185. Its companion bill is HB 372. It is awaiting transmittal to the Governor.

All - I am please to let you all know that our Sub Minimum Wage Bill passed and was signed by the Governor this week! It took some strong negotiations across both bodies of our legislature. There was really great dialogue from all of
our Senators and House Members about how to make it work, simplify everything and make it work for all. They ended up combining this with Employment First. We are pleased with the final version. We have 2 years to get everything secured so that no one goes
unserved as we make this important transition. I have enclosed the final version in case it is helpful to anyone else. Best, Val
